WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS
At BWFA, we believe it’s important for you to have a clear understanding of your wealth management options. For this reason, we’re pleased to offer a number of educational workshops and opportunities to meet with a financial planner. See below for some of the options that individuals living in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas and across the country can benefit from, as well as upcoming seminar dates throughout 2017.
Many Baby Boomers are ready to start planning for retirement. For those that are ready but don’t feel totally informed, now is the time to attend one of our financial workshops for Baby Boomers. You’ll receive qualified retirement & estate planning information. With tips designed specifically for your generation, you’ll learn more about how to invest your money properly and prepare for an enjoyable retirement.
Choosing where to invest your money and how you’re going to handle portfolio management is critical for positioning yourself for financial success. During these seminars, we’ll discuss information pertaining to where your money is being invested, how you’re investing it, and what you need to be doing to prepare for retirement. You’ll learn about the different ways you can invest your money so you can begin deciding what’s right for you. Moreover, you can learn more about your current investments and speak with a financial advisor regarding the health of your assets and investments.
Understanding your social security benefits can be confusing. We’ll teach you more about how social security works and what you can expect from social security when you’re ready to retire. These social security educational seminars are primarily for the Baby Boomer generation.
Planning for your retirement isn’t something you should take lightly. At BWFA, we believe in being a retirement educational center. By attending a retirement planning workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about where you should be investing and how. Additionally, following the planning seminar, you’ll meet with a financial advisor to discuss financial & retirement planning.
Estate planning is important for people of any age. It’s never too early to discuss your plans for your belongings and your wealth after you’re deceased. Accidents do happen, and you want a dedicated will & trusts advisor to insure that your wishes are properly carried out. At our estate planning seminar, we’ll teach about the process of planning your estate, minimizing tax implications, and what you need to pay special attention to.
Aside from being a retirement educational center, we’re also a life events education center. Certain life events require a reworking of your wealth and finances. Divorce, separation, or job loss all might impact the way that you save and use both money and assets. If you’re in the midst of an unexpected life event or just want to make sure that you’re well-prepared should one come up, this seminar is a good opportunity for you.
We offer these as broad categories, but be sure to keep your eye out for specific seminars as well. No matter which seminar or workshop you choose, you’ll receive a complimentary lunch and the opportunity to speak with a fiduciary advisor at the end of the seminar. If you have questions about any of the seminars, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 410-461-3900 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d be more than happy to answer your questions and guide you toward the right seminar for your needs.
