ABOUT DAVID WOODRUFF

David joined APL FCU in March 2019 as President/CEO. With more than 35 years of experience working in financial institutions, including over 27 years serving in credit unions.
David considers himself a champion of cooperative credit union values and ideals. His career has taken him from California to Washington, Virginia, New Mexico and now Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and has completed a number of other executive leadership courses over his career. He is a graduate of Leadership Howard County Class of 2020 and currently serves on the Howard County Board to Promote Self-Sufficiency as well as Treasurer for the Association of Community Services. He also enjoys serving as a mentor in the Ohana HC program. David and his wife, Lynnae, have three children.
