My wife and I reached two wonderful milestones this year—we each turned 50 years old and also celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We marked the occasions by traveling to Maui this summer, and while there discovered a great hiking app called ALL Trails. With ALL Trails you can search hiking trails all over the world, reading reviews and viewing photos from fellow adventurers. Each new hike was of course fun, but now also interactive, complete with a “tour guide” to track every step. I have always loved the outdoors, from my days as a young cub scout all the way through to the final Eagle Scout ceremony, and that love of adventure continues to inspire me today.
Hiking involves planning to reach a goal, then (literally) step by step, moving slowly, but surely, to reach your chosen destination.
