WELLNESS WEBINAR – Mindfulness Matters with Dagmar Bohlmann

Greetings!

Baltimore-Washington Financial Advisors and Dagmar Bohlmann, Registered Yoga Teacher, invite you to a wellness workshop “Mindfulness Matters”.
Wellness Webinar
Monday, August 9, 2021 from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM EDT
Mindfulness is paying extra-ordinary attention to ordinary experiences. It invites us to experience our lives more purposefully and more fully, and it allows us to pause before reacting in ways that might be unhelpful or hurtful. By fostering attitudes of openness, curiosity, and acceptance, mindfulness helps us pay more attention to our experiences – the pleasant and unpleasant ones – without being swept away by emotions.
Research has determined that mindfulness practices:
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Lower stress
  • Improve physical health and immune functioning
  • May prevent and treat depression
  • Increase body satisfaction
  • Improve cognition
  • Help your brain reduce distractions
Most of all, mindfulness allows us to be more present for the joyful and happy moments of life. Join us and learn simple techniques you can easily incorporate into your daily routines.
PRESENTER & INSTRUCTOR:
RYT 500, Registered Yoga Teacher
Having lived on two continents, in three countries and five states, I appreciate being at home on my mat. As freelance writer, yoga teacher and mother of two, this is where I find solace and serenity, balance and alignment.

I got serious about meditating during my RYT500 certification through Sampoorna Yoga School in Goa, India. In addition, I hold a RYT200 certification from Charm City Yoga in Baltimore (now YogaWorks). I love sharing my knowledge of over 500 hours of training related to health, kinesiology, and anatomy.

The body and the mind are fascinating places to visit. Let me take you on a journey of curiosity, acceptance, non-judgment and self-love.

We hope you can join us!

Sincerely,

Robert Carpenter
