Bob is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he received his B.S. in Economics in 1971. He completed his graduate work at George Washington University in 1976 with an MBA in Finance and Investments.
Bob moved to Maryland in 1976 and started his investment career at The First National Bank of Maryland (later Allfirst Bank). He spent 26 years at Allfirst and was Senior Vice President and Manager of the Treasury Funds Management Group. In this capacity Bob managed a fixed income portfolio of $4.5 Billion, wholesale liabilities of $4 Billion, and all interest rate risk of the $18 Billion bank.
Bob lives in Fulton. When not raising four kids, Bob is an avid golfer at Cattail Creek Country Club in Glenwood. He recently scored his first "hole in one."
