Cindy has performed special tax projects for BWFA on a part-time basis since 2008. She has an MBA in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She also has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Ohio University.
Before joining BWFA, Cindy worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in both the tax and audit departments, serving private and public companies. Her resume also includes positions in the accounting department of Deloitte & Touche Central Europe, B.F. Saul Mortgage Company (Chevy Chase Bank), and the US Department of Agriculture.
Cindy is from upstate New York, but lived in Northern Virginia and Prague, Czech Republic before settling in Maryland. She now resides in Laurel with her husband and two young daughters. Cindy enjoys cooking, travel, arts and crafts, and being a soccer mom. Recently she became a Girl Scout leader and is relishing this experience with the girls.
