Why BWFA has a Client Advisory Board:

We know that our clients want us to be responsive, accurate, and expert in what we do for them. But, without sufficient feedback, it would be hard to know if we were living up to our client's expectations. To help us, BWFA maintains a Client Advisory Board.

What the Client Advisory Board Does:

This small group acts as advocates for our clients. They meet with us from time to time and provide objective, critical feedback about our business. We always try to meet first with our Client Advisory Board whenever we are making any changes.

Our Client Advisory Board has also agreed to field questions and comments from our clients. Please feel free to contact any of the board members with your concerns.

How to Contact the BWFA Client Advisory Board:

Board member Dave Carter
Dave Carter is a Project Manager at The Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), where he has worked for nearly 35 years. Dave has lived in Columbia since 1973 with his wife Mary a Case Manager at Howard County General Hospital. Dave and Mary have been clients of BWFA since the early 1990s.

At home, Dave and Mary are kept busy with their pet dachshunds and enjoy running (for exercise rather than glory), skiing (although never enough opportunities to do so), and travel (which will hopefully increase when they retire in a couple years).

He lives in Glenwood, MD and has been married to his high school sweetheart, Jean, for 25 years. Joe and Jean also have a small vacation home in Oakland, MD, about 20 miles from Deep Creek Lake. They have fallen in love with the area and hope to retire there in about 2 years, when Joe will be eligible to retire from IBM.

Joe and Jean became clients of BWFA in February 2001.

When not puttering around in electronic "stuff", Joe enjoys reading, working in his woodshop, listening to his "killer" stereo, and playing the drums. Joe hopes to play the drums in a local band when he retires and is currently taking lessons working towards that goal.
